For a fee, you can rent many extras. These include beach chairs, beach loungers, deck chairs, umbrellas, chairs, bathing boats and various play and sports equipment. Especially the many games and sports equipment ensure a varied day. These include table tennis tables, the volleyball court, a badminton court, a bowling alley, the open-air chess board and a playground with a climbing frame. Due to this versatile offer, the lakeside resort Wendenschloss is especially suitable for young families with children. Especially for toddlers the non-swimmer area is ideal.
Access and parking
The easiest way to reach the bath is by car. However, there are only limited parking spaces available nearby.
If you like it a bit more exciting you can take the ferry F12 from Grünau to Wendenschloss. The best way to do this is to take the S-Bahn S8 or S85 to Grünau and walk one kilometer to the Wassersportallee landing stage.
Another option is to take the S-Bahn to Köpenick station and from there streetcar 62 to the final stop Wendenschloßstraße.
Restaurant at the lido
The restaurant "Zum Seestern" in the lido provides adequate catering for all bathing sun worshippers. The offer ranges from good Berlin cuisine to a solid snack and rustic cakes.
Water quality
The water quality in the Wendenschloss lakeside pool is rated "suitable for bathing" by the Lageso and is "excellent" according to the EU classification.
