Seebad Friedrichshagen

The Friedrichshagen lake resort is located on the northwestern shore of the large Müggelsee lake in the Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick. As soon as you enter the bath, you can already see the large sandy beach. There is no lawn for sunbathing, only smaller lawns under the trees. The bath offers on the one hand the classical elements, which one expects from an open-air bath. There is a snack bar, play and sports facilities, umbrellas and much more. In addition, the bath can also be confidently described as an event bath. The palette ranges from wedding celebrations to the fun event "Müggelmortale", where people jump over a ramp into the lake on bicycles.

Equipment and special features

The equipment is very versatile. Those who are looking for more comfort can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. For the more active, there is a diving tower, volleyball court and table tennis table. Valuables can be stored in lockers. Sanitary facilities are available.

Boat and raft rental

If you feel like moving on the water, you can rent a pedal boat or a sit-on-top canoe directly at the lake resort. The perfect complement to the bathing day.

If you like it even more special, you can also book an extended raft tour to the center of Berlin. For this, however, you must register well in advance on the website of the boat rental company "Floß & los". The selection ranges from a five-person tipi raft to a large city raft for 15 people.

Snack bar

On the premises of the seaside resort there is of course also a snack bar with the small amenities that simply belong to a bathing day. From a hearty portion of French fries to a fruity ice cream to a cool beer, there is plenty to choose from.

NUDIST

Nudist bathing is not offered at this outdoor pool. Alternatives in the district are the lido Müggelsee, the lido Grünau or the Bammelecke.

Events

The various events are definitely the highlight of the open-air bath. In the winter time, an ice rink is installed on the area for skating. In August, the annual Müggelmortale takes place, where participants either jump from the diving tower in a fancy costume or jump over a ramp into the lake on a bicycle. The premises in the lakeside bath can also be rented for your own parties and weddings.

Directions

If you want to avoid problems with finding a parking space and on top of that save the environment, it is best to use public transport to get to Seebad Friedrichshagen. With the S3 you can easily get from Ostkreuz to the S-Bahn station Friedrichshagen. The trip takes about 16 minutes. From there, take streetcar 60 south to Müggelsee (Josef-Nawrocki-Str. station). After about a minute walk you are already at the lido.

For car drivers there is an adjacent parking lot. This is quickly occupied, especially on weekends. We therefore recommend that you arrive in the morning if possible.

For the very sporty there are bicycle racks.

Water quality

The water quality in the Seebad Friedrichshagen is stated by the Lageso as "suitable for bathing" and is "excellent" according to the EU classification.
