Description

Beach popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers, known for strong winds and views of the Montaña Roja volcano.

The beach is located at the lower end of El Medano and consists of finest sand, which is not a matter of course in Tenerife. Towards El Medano there are also enough shopping and restaurants / food. The beach is very spacious and offers a lot of space. In the hinterland of the beach there is enough parking and the arrival by bus is possible via El Medano.

In the year 2021, the water quality of the bathing place Playa del Médano was last checked and submitted to the European Environment Agency for the current report. The current water quality of 2021 is very good suitable for bathing.

        Ein wirklich großartiger Strand. Es gibt eine Menge Kiter und Surfer in der Nähe. Dazu die ganzen Geschäfte zum Surfen / Kiten und Surf/Kite-Schulen.
