Description

The lido Plötzensee is a popular and centrally located outdoor pool in Berlin-Mitte. The bath is located directly at the Plötzensee near the Westhafen. It is easy to reach with the Ringbahn. In addition to an extensive and well-kept sandy beach, the bath has extensive equipment for varied activities. From basketball hoops for the grown-ups to a children's playground and water slide for the little ones, it's all here. Those who prefer a sunbathing area with a dense and well-kept lawn will find it above the beach. For refreshment there is a beach bar and snack bar. If you don't want to go swimming, you can simply rent a rowing boat or pedal boat south of the beach, sail across the lake and enjoy the view.

Plötzensee Boat Rental

On the south shore of the lake there is a boat rental. The boat house "Zur Fischerpinte" is a quaint old Berlin address. From here you can enjoy the sunset with a cool beer or explore the lake by pedal boat or rowing boat.

Plötzensee

Plötzensee in the Mitte district is a bathing lake with a surrounding park. The name of the lake is derived from the carp fish Plötze.
